My account services have for quite some time needed a reliability upgrade. That is what I have been working on for quite some time now and it's finally done.
|

|
|
# Update September 15, 2025
|
|
I have decided to postpone the update until further notice. I forgot to update the other services' backends and don't want to rush it, so the below date is not accurate and a correct one will be provided once I have finished up some more testing.
|
|
|
|
I also want to take some time to finish the new website all the way so both updates can go up simultaneously.
|
|
|
|
I expect the new system to go up next weekend, the weekend of `September 20`
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Original Timeline
|
|
However, the new account service will still need some testing which I can only do on the live site, so the account services will be unavailable from at least
|
|
```Monday, September 15, 07:00 UTC```
|
|
until at least
|
|
```Monday, September 15, 15:00 UTC```
|
|
|
|
I hope that I am able to finish sooner and no major issues arise, but I can never be certain. It is conceivable that the account services are unavailable up until `Tuesday, September 16, 19:00 UTC` at the latest. If by that time the new system has failed to reach full stability, I will revert to the old system and set up a better testing setup locally to try to achieve stability before the next attempt on the weekend of `September 20`

This means that the store and MusicPlayer will be unavailable during that time.
