So I just got Horizon Zero Dawn remastered, only to find out you need to create an account to play it. WHAT?! WHY?! It's a single player game with literally ***NO*** online content! Why do game studios keep doing this? This is anti-consumer BS that we don't need. Like I do understand it for multiplayer games and it does kinda make sense, but there are a lot of games that simply use Steam signin to provide the online services and then your game progression is tied to your Steam account (which is the best solution). But with account creation being a thing for multiplayer games I am sorta fine with. But for single player games? Why? What's the point? You literally do not have to have any internet connection at all because you download the whole game off of Steam.
This is getting to a point where stuff is just getting mental and they should really reconsider. Especially for single player games, because we don't need to create yet *another* account.
